for the second day in a row i have entered in a blog. I will try to keep this up as long as i can. Well, tonight is the NBA finals and i cant wait!

hello everybody. sorry for not writing lately. alot of things have happened since my last entry. I am still working on art. I have an addition to my family with an 8 pds 11 oz baby boy. we named him jacob. also i have been busy watching the NBA playoffs. Since I live near Dallas, I am extremely happy right now with the mavs being in the Finals. Its still really hard to believe it. All you mavs fans leave me a message! In recognition to the team whether they win the championship or not, I am working on a series of portraits of the mavs. Im starting off with the true MVP Dirk Nowitzki and then the rest of the team. I have some new art to post, so hopefully I should have that pretty soon. GO MAVS!!!

Hello everybody, sorry for the long absense. I have been working on more art lately. I haave been drawing some scenes from the Nutcracker because I am going to be in an art exhibit at a Nutcracker ballet performance. I should have those posted soon as well.  This drawing that I have posted on my blog is a drawing that I won a $1.000 scholarship from in High School. This is actually my first colored pencil drawing that I have ever done. It still remains one of my favorites as this has quite a long story behind it. I also added this to my photo album, so if you would like a closer look at it you may. Sorry if the quality is not that good, because i scanned it off of one of my business cards.

good morning. I had a great night last night. i went to an award show last night for an amateur art show that i was in. I won first and second place for a couple of my colored pencil drawings.  I should have the winning works posted soon.

Good morning everybody. As you can tell I am still tinkering with my space. I really like how its turning out right now. Tonight I have an award ceremony to go to, hopefully I will win something. I am kind of on a cold streak at the moment with coming away with no awards from my recent shows, but this time I have a pretty good feeling. I have entered a pretty good portrait colored pencil drawing. So hopefully i should have it posted soon.
